Linsley is a divergent. Being divergent makes her different. The only way she was able to stay safe was going to dauntless since her mother was a dauntless. Linsley grew up in amity to be a nice carefree girl. She loved to run around and play and never have to give a care in the world about whatever was going around her. Now that she is in Dauntless she is now quite mean and being the leader of the dauntless she is also quite strict and sometimes has a fiery temper if you know how to light it.

Linsley was born as an Amity child. She was raised to be a careless girl who only cared about friendship. Later on when she got older she started learning about the factions. The lessons about the factions influenced her choices about where to go. The day of her test for her faction choices she was proclaimed to be divergent. Seeing as she knew deep down in her heart that she would only be safe if she was with her mom in dauntless she decided to go to the dauntless faction. Now Linsley is the leader of the dauntless while her mother has given up her leader position to be the training teacher.
