elizza is a strong, sensitive girl. having been from amity, she's spontaneous, sweet, and full of positive enthusiasm at times. other times, lizza is stubborn, rebellious, and sarcastic. she has always been the one in between the descisions, not really knowing if the peaceful way would handle things. having picked dauntless, she feels she has more freedom to get all of her angst out. in her test results, she was a dauntless, now she can truly be who she is.

elizza was the first born in the maywell family in the faction of amity. she loved being the only child at such a young age, having all of the attention and time, but when her little sister caroline came into her life, things changed. caroline turned out to be the one their parents accepted more. elizza's rebellious nature brought shame upon herself in the faction. she actually couldn't wait to get out and experience something new. however, when she turned sixteen, she only had so much time to think things through. her loyalty to her family was being carefully tested. she loved her family so much that she couldn't bare burden them or herself any more pain in amity. she supposed leaving was not only best for herself, but for caroline and her parents. elizza wasn't much of a peacemaker and now caroline had more room to grow. living in amity with the trouble elizza created was not ideal. she left her old friends and sweet family for dauntless, this choice was acceptable in her parents' eyes, but elizza still wasn't sure how they really felt about it.
