Foster said his goodbyes once again to his mother and father in his old home in Candor. It was one of his shorter visits because he had so much work to do back in Erudite. Everything had been moving so quickly there, he almost wasn't used to it. Now that he was, he enjoyed being back in Candor. He missed this place to say the least. It was his home and he had some good and bad memories here. But that was what made home a home. If that had even made any sense. Foster was just grateful he had the time to go back and see them once again. Three years and he still felt as if he was trying to stay in with the crowd. It proved to be a bit more difficult. Nonetheless, he felt that Erudite was the one place he could get through initiation easiest. He had been studying and working diligently to get to where he is now.
The young man strolled down the street of his neighborhood. He had some old friends there he never really made out to say hello to. Maybe this time he would make the trek since his visit with his parents was shorter. He stopped mid walk, contemplating whether or not it was wise. If they hadn't made the trek to visit him, why should he for them? It was true he never truly had the time to make great friends when he was younger, they were all acquaintances in his eyes. Foster decided not to ponder on the matter any longer and head on back. He made it to where the bustling of people began. It was a gloomy day, not his favorite, and he almost hoped it would rain. He seemed to work better in the rain, as if it gave him that nudge to move on.
He sighed and found himself gazing off somewhere, getting lost in his thoughts. He walked straight into someone who probably wasn't paying attention either. "Hey," he muttered quickly, looking ahead at the red head he interrupted. "Sorry," he corrected himself, "I'm not exactly in my right mind today."
