Calculating and seen as cold, Ed emanates a feeling of superiority over most people. He rarely speaks but when he does it is usually an insult or something really important. He will do anything to be the first at everything including cheating. He tries to be a little less intimidating but it doesn't really work. If you happen to catch him in a good mood however he can be pretty nice if there aren't to many people around. He never talks about his family and will always evade the question if you do happen to ask.

He new from an early age that though he was born Erudite, he was at heart a Dauntless. So he took advantage of his surroundings and began to study all types of combat. His parents seeing what he was doing began to grow disappointed with him, and instead turned they’re gaze to they’re elder son Bryan who was acing all of his classes. Edwin mostly ignored this but it still hurt when his parents didn't even show up for his Choosing Ceremony.
