Harvey loves to make people laugh that is his secret life goal other than getting initiates threw initiation. He is extremely friendly but a little blunt if you are failing. For most people meeting him the first time it is if all of your current problems are gone and you must listen to and enjoy whatever he is saying no matter what. Most of his happiness probably comes from his previous home in Amity which he surprisingly left during his choosing ceremony.

No one knows why Harvey left Amity. He was the perfect example of an Amity farmer. His family was very sad when he left but they where secretly proud that he had left no one had ever left in their family before. Harvey had always longed to have an adventure and seeing the Dauntless new that he would have one every day if he lived with them. So he joined them and some how managed to get threw initiation really well, probably due to his secret dance skills that he taught himself. He now prides himself training others so that they can pass as well.
