Ocean is a sarcastic girl who doesn't take no for an answer, she loves to question authority which often gets her in trouble. She can be annoying and mean at times, but once you get to know her she opens up and reveals a smart funny girl who cares about people.

Ocean was a brilliant girl but her parents always pushed her to do better, they tried to change her, tried to make her more like them. She grew up happily with her two siblings, but something had always felt off to her until the aptitude test where she realized where she belonged, in Dauntless. She is still working through initiation and is struggling, but she works hard, making sure not to become factionless, her parents hate her now, along with her sister Crissy because of her changing factions.
