Silently Speaking (Talon)

Skyler sat silently on her bunk with a book placed on her legs, she looked like a little kid reading a book full of pictures yet it was old with words in different languages and no pictures. It was odd for a dauntless to like books but for some reason Sky liked to read the really old thrilling books where she could imagine herself jumping off the cliffs and diving through the sky's she loved the thrill of it. A giggle parted her pink lips sweetly and a few dauntless have her half hearted smiles and even odd looks, they didn't understand her. Amazing hazel eyes shifted back to her book and she sighed slamming it shut and putting it back under her pillow shifting around in her bed to look at the wall. God it was boring around here and she needed something to do soon. Before she noticed the room was empty and she sat almost alone, only one kid slept on a bunk across from her and she had no idea who he or she was. Not really thinking about It and jumping to the thought that the person was sleeping she got up and stripped off her shirt only to replace it with a tight black tank top. It was getting hot in the room and she needed to cool off so after she replaced her dark pants with a pair of short black shorts and black flip flops. It was odd for here to be in the shoes she had on but she had no training today and didn't plan on leaving today so she sat back down and sighed of boardome. Where was her white knight on his horse to whisk her away to fun times and happy ending. She fell back onto the bed and groaned.

Eric was passing through the hall to check on the initiates, he wasn't a trainer but he had already been Dauntless for a year now. He heard a groan and peeked his head inside the door,"Hello?" he asked, his voice was deep and quiet. He stepped into the room and then leaned against the wall by the door, crossing his arms as he eyed the girl on her bed. He narrowed his eyes, observing everything in the room with caution, his little sister could have trapped the place, luckily there were no traps so he unnarrowed his eyes and smiled.

Sky sat up quickly and looked at the older dauntless boy who leaned in the doorway." Ummm hi can I help you", she stood and walked over to him looking at him up and down she didn't remember him at all and she laned up on the wall across from him. " What's a guy like you doing in the initiates buncks it's no fun here". She nooded at the guy sleeping and giggled sweetly. Tossing her hair out of her eyes and giving him a not so sweet smile twisted with a toxic feeling, like she could snap at any minute.

Talon shrugged,"Just came to check on you initiates, initiation can be brutal on some transfers, it was for me," he said, his eyes were full of nothingness, they were just a deep set blue. His smile didn't have any meaning, it didn't reach to his eyes.

Sky caught the amazing blue in his eyes and looked away, she was so board and if this boy could offer her something fun to do then she would take it." Well then rescue me I need something to do or I'm going die before I have a chance to prove myself", she batted her amazing eyes at him and giggled it seemed a little like she was flirting but really that was just her she didn't need men but she always had trouble because she came off like she needed them all. She could hear the sound of all the kids and friends running around and having fun and she wanted to have fun to but no one even gave her a second thought. She was used to it after her parents were killed she was overlooked and left alone so she was surprised when this boy even talked to her.

Talon chuckled,"Lemme guess, your this year's mostly invisible initiate?" he asked, walking over to her, stopping at the foot of her bed and gazing curiously at her. "My sister was last year's, she was in my shadow, no idea how but she would know how it feels to be mostly invisible," he said, his voice monotone and his smile faded from his lips.
