personality
-------------------------------------
Before Luna switched to Dauntless, she was a rather careless person, she spoke her mind and did as her mother always told her to do. She was close to the top three in her class but never made it to that list as she had decided Dauntless was her home and had she stayed as an Erudite, her mother would never allow her to make it to the top three list. Luna was taught to never enjoy attention, by her mother. Her mother had taught her many things and Luna was grateful, yet she disliked her mother for never being like all the other parents. Once she had escaped that life, Eluna shortened her name to Luna and she started enjoying the little attention she earned when she did something good, she started talking more often with those she felt safe talking to. The few years in dauntless changed a bit, she's more brighter than she used to be in Erudite headquarters where she was forced to keep her head down. Despite being open with a people, Luna is still rather suspicious and tries to find out everything about the Dauntless leaders and families as she still educates herself. She volunteers for anything she can as it makes her feel rather safer.

Luna Williams wasn't the smartest in her class, nor was she the dumbest but she strived to become an honoroll student. Partially because of her strict mother but mostly, Luna was doing it for herself because she believed knowledge was the key to everything. Many Erudites were manuplative and Luna was naturally suspicious. It was her suspicion that got her out of that faction as soon as she turned 16. Her mother, was of course not happy about this and never visited her daughter during her initiation. But Luna wasn't surprised. Life was never perfect at home, her mother was too strict. She would whip Luna's arm everyday, depending on how many questions she answered incorrectly. Education was the most important thing in her mother's life, she would even teach her of things her teacher wouldn't. Such as stimulations, who they work on and who they do not work on. How to create stimulations herself, divergents, technology and the list goes on. Luna never found this to be exasperating, although she hated being in pain everyday and the marks that began showing on her arms were no better. On the ceremony day, Luna sat and thought through her aptitude results, straining her brain to figure out which faction she would fit in. Finally, once her name was called out, Luna had already made her choice and instantly rushed over to the five bowls only to offer Dauntless her loyalty.
Through her initiation, Luna didn't face many difficulties. Despite being great in hand to hand combat, Luna hated making others bleed a lot and for that, she lost her first fight. But by the end of the initiation, Luna had made it to the top ten and she instantly began volunteering for anything and everything just to make sure she knew how most the things in Dauntless worked, for her own safety. Now, she volunteers for everything and anything she can. She spends most of her times working on computers.
